We manufacture only the finest custom flags using strong 200 denier nylon fabric, which our sewing department layers and stitches together to create your design. This process is known as appliqué, and is a specialty process that only a few flag makers are capable of.

What is an Applique Flag?

Appliqué means the layering of fabric on fabric, the oldest method of custom designed flag manufacture. Because each flag is individually assembled and stitched by our expert sewing crew, your flag design is given plenty of human attention. Flag Fabric is typically 200 denier nylon. It is available in 78 colors, which can sometimes be layered to create in-between shades. Many colors are available flame retardant, and those that are not can be treated to make them so.

Finish depends on how your flag is being used - indoor flags such as cheerleading flags typically have a pole pocket on one side, with a pole. Outdoor flags such as stadium flags are usually finished with heading and grommets. We always reinforce the fly end (the side of the flag that flaps in the breeze) with double fabric and triple stitching, to help prevent fraying.
